For the sake of clarity, let's please use this thread solely for Hobbit Talk, and the Ongoing Discussion for our general chitchat.
That business aside, it's time to begin with Chapter One, An Unexpected Party!
As more Tolkien productions are on their way and the music to at least one production (Rings of Power which I like very much), the Hobbit music book has been announced, hinted at and then never...
How's that Hobbit book coming? Do we need to crowd-source it what? :)
Not featured, per se. But it's used as a color throughout the Isengard music, generally in low octaves. (And of course, the chains-on-piano-wires effect.)
Not even sure if this page is maintained anymore, but was just in a discussion whether the piano was used/featured in the LOTR soundtracks anywhere and we were all stumped. Any insight? Thanks!
Looks like the link is dead. What a shame. Any idea if there's a backup or downloadable archive of the site anywhere?
